The situation of Ukrainian pupils and students in Poland was the subject of talks between the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek and the ambassador of Ukraine in Poland, Andriy Deshthytsia.
During the meeting, Minister Czarnek expressed his appreciation and solidarity with the Ukrainian nation, which is fighting against Russian aggression. He informed the public about the activities of the Ministry of Education and Science for refugees from Ukraine. The minister emphasized that the ministry made every effort to ensure optimal conditions for children and youth from Ukraine in Polish schools and universities.
Ambassador Andriy Deshthytsia thanked for the support provided by Poland, including the possibility of continuing education for children and youth from Ukraine. He also talked about the difficult situation of Ukrainian education, which results both from the destruction of school infrastructure and the conduct of military operations.
Minister Czarnek declared that he would continue to support the Ukrainians, including assistance in conducting an entrance examination for studies for Ukrainian secondary school students who are staying in Poland.
