In the second half of September 2022, the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), in agreement with the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Education and Science is planning to organize a conference on the European Qualification Passport for Refugees (EQPR), combined with interviews with the first group of refugees who decide apply for it in Poland.
The European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR) is a special international tool that enables the verification of refugees’ qualifications despite missing or insufficient documentation of education. It allows the universities to issue a standardized document explaining the qualifications that the refugee is likely to have obtained in the light of the available evidence.
Although this document is not a formal recognition of qualifications in a given country, it contains reliable information that may be taken into account when applying for employment, as well as admission to studies, training courses or internships.
