National Agency for Academic Exchange to subsidize the internationalization of 10 doctoral schools

The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) will allocate nearly PLN 20 million to the internationalization of doctoral schools. Funding will be provided for international doctoral studies, summer schools and foreign research trips.

Funding under the NAWA STER program will be received by 10 universities including: Jagiellonian University in Kraków, University of Wrocław, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Gdańsk University of Technology, Łódź University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.

The “STER – Internationalization of doctoral schools” program is addressed to Polish universities and research units that run doctoral schools. The aim of the program is to support the internationalization of doctoral schools in improving the quality of education in doctoral schools and the quality of doctoral research through the international exchange of good practices and experiences, increasing the international mobility of doctoral students, or acquiring foreign doctoral students and supervisors from abroad.
