Strengthening the education of doctors and nurses at Polish medical universities and Polish medical staff is the main goal of the new project of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) called “Physician NAWA – Support for university medical faculties”.
As part of a pilot action under this project, medical universities are planning to invite scientists, medical practitioners (including dentists) as well as nurses and midwives from the European Union and the United Kingdom this year.
-We are inviting doctors and nurses from all European Union countries and the United Kingdom to come to Poland. We are creating conditions for them to use their professional experience in work at Polish medical universities and in the Polish health service, which now needs every support in the field of human resources and sharing the best professional practices – said Prof. dWojciech Maksymowicz, deputy minister of education and science.
