The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has launched a new competition “Solidarity with scientists”, implemented in cooperation with the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), which will support research projects involving scientists from Belarus.

The new competition is carried out as part of the initiative “Solidarity with Belarus”. The competition is addressed to organizations conducting research and disseminating knowledge, with agreements with NAWA that are the basis for providing scholarships for Belarusian citizens under the “Solidarity with scientists” activity.

NCBR and NAWA have allocated PLN 6.25 million to finance the projects. The call for applications will last until July 30, 2021, and the competition will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021. Funding can be used to carry out basic research, industrial research and experimental development work.

Project applications must link to the following areas: Life Sciences, Engineering and Technology Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
