University of Life Sciences in Lublin to develop a production line for nutraceutical products

The University of Life Sciences in Lublin in a consortium with HOG POLSKA and the village of Zielona from the Drwinia commune in the Bochnia poviat received over PLN 8 million for the research and development project “Development and implementation of pilot nutraceutical products with programmed pro-health properties in the conditions of a circular economy”.      

As part of the project, two beverages with a high content of beta-glucans and herbs with prolactating properties and supporting weight reduction will be developed along with the installation of an innovative production line operating in a closed circuit.

The recipients of the products will be nursing women, people who care about health, distributors of functional food, individual farms breeding animals, producers of animal feed.

The consortium will run the development work, a design, specification and commissioning of a technological line, together with the production of trial batches of the product.
