The National Science Center (NCN) and the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) are inviting interested institutions to take part in the ARTIQ competition for funding projects to create three Centers of Excellence in artificial intelligence (CD AI).
Artificial intelligence is to be one of the most important technologies of the future. The European Parliament recognized activities for its benefit as a priority for the European Union. Poland adopted the “Policy for the development of artificial intelligence from 2020”.
The aim of the project of the National Science Center and the National Center for Research and Development is to increase Poland’s potential in this field. Centers of Excellence, managed by leaders of international renown will carry out basic research, industrial research, development or pre-implementation works.
Basic research will be financed by the NCN, and funds for applied research and the establishment of special purpose vehicles will be granted by the NCBR.
The call for applications in the ARTIQ will last until December 20, 2021.
