18 projects received financial support in the second international competition for Polish-Chinese research projects SHENG 2. Applicants had the opportunity to obtain funds for research in life sciences and in selected disciplines of exact, technical and social sciences. The total budget of the awarded grants for the Polish part of research is almost PLN 28 million, – informs the National Science Center (NCN).
The international, bilateral SHENG 2 competition for Polish-Chinese research projects is organized by the National Science Center in cooperation with the Chinese agency National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), in accordance with the parallel evaluation procedure. This means that both agencies carried out a simultaneous formal and content-related assessment of the applications. Only those projects that were recommended by the National Science Center and NSFC received funding.
The financed projects will be implemented in Poland and China, and the implementation of each project will be supervised by two managers: one Chinese and one Polish person.
