National Science Center to celebrate its 10th anniversary

The National Science Center (NCN) has planned the 10th-anniversary celebrations on September 9 and 10 in Krakow. The program includes a gala and a scientific conference. Participants can join the celebration by marking posts about the successes of winners of the NCN competitions with the hashtag # 10NCN years.

On September 9 at 18 at the Theater of Juliusz Słowacki in Krakow, National Science Center will run a gala ceremony with the participation of Polish and foreign guests. During the ceremony, speeches will be given by: NCN director Prof. Zbigniew Błocki, chairman of the NCN Council Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, president of Science Europe and the secretary-general of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), Dr Marc Schiltz, as well as president of the Global Research Council and president of the German Research Foundation (DFG) Prof. Katja Becker.

On September 10, on the second day of the jubilee celebrations, National Science Center will hold a conference at the International Cultural Center in Krakow. Its participants will talk about science during the pandemic and the policy of open access – Open Access.
