The National Centre for Science (NCN) has announced the MINIATURA 8 competition, in which PhD scientists can receive grants for the implementation of single scientific activities. The budget for this year’s competition is PLN 20 million.
The competition is intended for scientists who want to conduct basic research and, through the implementation of a single activity, prepare the assumptions of a research project for which they will apply for funding in future NCN competitions or other national or international competitions.
Participants in the competition may be researchers who obtained their doctoral degree not earlier than 1 January 2012.
The competition is open for applications until 31 July 2024 for a single scientific activity that has not been previously and is not currently funded by NCN or any other sources. The scientific activity can be carried out in the form of preliminary or pilot research, a search, a scientific internship, a research trip or a consultancy trip.
