Neuronus 2024 Neuroscience Forum to be held in Krakow

The Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow will host the Neuronus 2024 Neuroscience Forum conference on 25-27 April 2024. The event is organized under the auspices of the President of the Foundation for Polish Science, Prof. Maciej Żylicz.

The organisers of the conference are students from the Jagiellonian University. The forum brings together participants from all over the world. 

The main objective of the conference is to provide researchers with an opportunity to share their latest discoveries, knowledge and experience, and to establish valuable contacts with scientists representing various fields of neuroscience. 

There are four thematic blocks planned for the event – Cognitive Neuroscience, Biological Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience and Medical Neuroscience. 

The first presents psychophysiological research, related to emotion processing or perception. The second block is the study of basic mechanisms of neuroscience, such as the basis of neurodegenerative diseases. The Computational block focuses on neuroinformatics research, such as the development of artificial neural networks. The last block presents issues in neurology and psychiatry as well as clinical cases in diseases of the nervous system.
