Przemysław Musialski, Professor of computer science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, has become the leader of the ‘Computer Graphics’ research group at IDEAS NCBR, a research and development centre in the area of artificial intelligence. The unit he leads will develop novel techniques and methodologies in the field of computer graphics.

‘At IDEAS NCBR, we have established a new research group that will focus on computer graphics, one of the most relevant research areas related to artificial intelligence. We have managed to convince Przemysław Musialski, a prominent specialist from the New Jersey Institute of Technology to return to Poland to head this group’, says Prof. Piotr Sankowski, president of IDEAS NCBR.

The main research areas of the group under the direction of Przemysław Musialski will be 3D rendering, generative modelling, geometric modelling, animation and simulation.
