The Nutribiomed Cluster, coordinated by the Wrocław Technology Park (WPT), received the status of the National Key Cluster that confirms its significant importance for the country’s economy and a high level of international competitiveness. The status is granted by the Ministry of Development and Technology on the basis of the competition results.
Nutribiomed is a life science cluster that was established in 2007 based on the concept of Prof. Eng. Tadeusz Trziszka from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław. As part of the membership in the Cluster, participants can use the services of the WPT Experimental Station, which offers production infrastructure for entities from the food industry.
The main idea behind its creation was to build a strong position of Poland in the sector of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals and biomedical preparations, as well as to use native, natural raw materials for their production using modern technologies.
