Open University of the Foundation “Pro Polonia” inaugurated its activity

Prof. Marek Krawczyk, a long-term rector of the Medical University of Warsaw and a corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences with his lecture on protective vaccines has inaugurated the activity of the Open University of the “Pro Polonia” Foundation. 

-In the context of a massive attack on the national vaccination program, it should be emphasized that vaccination is one of the greatest achievements of medicine – it has significantly eliminated the tragedy of people struggling with the acute effects of COVID-19 – said Prof. Marek Krawczyk.

Foundation “Pro Polonia” was established on October 12, 2020 during the inauguration of the academic year, in the presence of the honorary patron, Card. Kazimierz Nycz. The president of the Foundation is Dr Witold Rybczyński, an ambassador ad personam, sociologist and diplomat for many years.

The most important goals of the Foundation include the development of broad cooperation among the Polish diaspora and Poles, and supporting the integration of Polish communities. The Foundation will also take care of bilateral contacts between Polish society, academic community, Polish diaspora and Poles living abroad.
