Opole University of Technology attracting foreign scientists

29.04.2021

More and more foreign scientists want to conduct their research at the Opole University of Technology. As the reason, they indicate its high academic level and openness of universities to cooperation. Five scientists from outside Europe (one from China, one from Iran and three from India) will work in Opole in the projects financed from out of the university.

– These scientists would not be interested in the Opole University of Technology if the university employees involved in research did not present the appropriate scientific level. This is the basis. The second thing is our research equipment. We are currently investing large amounts of money in new infrastructure. These are magnets that attract student to us – says the rector of the University of Technology, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.

One of the priorities of the university management board is the internationalization of scientific research. In the near future, the University of Technology intends to submit new projects for the arrival of scientists from all over the world.
