The University of Economics in Wrocław, as the fifth university in Poland, joined the project “University in the Microsoft Cloud”. The project brings together universities that use the latest digital technologies in science, education and everyday administration.

Using cloud computing, the university improves research and teaching processes as well as administrative management, develops digital competences of employees and increases data security. Users have extensive access to Microsoft technologies, and the software is made available for private use with the possibility of updating it to the latest version on home devices.

Industry analyzes show that by 2030, 77 percent students will need new technological skills and by 2022, 6.2 million positions requiring knowledge of cloud technologies will appear on the market. Students of the University of Economics in Wrocław will be ready to face these challenges.
