Prof Marian Bartoszuk from the Opole University of Technology has developed a system that will significantly improve the comfort of passengers on cruise and tourist coaches. His innovative ventilation system for bus toilets has just been patented.

“This is a bothersome problem that affects all passengers. Probably all of us, when boarding a cruise bus, choose a seat as far away from the toilet cubicle as possible. It is, of course, well known why. Especially on a long route, smells occur”, says the inventor.

The solution developed by the Opole-based scientist involves blanking off the vent, in which case the air from the toilet is taken in by the engine, which needs it to work. This ensures a constant, directed flow of air through the toilet cubicle space, making it continuously ventilated.

This solution fits in with the idea of sustainable design, as there is no need to install an additional motor, everything runs on a single drive.
