Prof. Damian Bęben from the Opole University of Technology (PO) has become one of the experts assessing applications from all over the country for scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for students and outstanding young scientists.

“Being appointed to the advisory team of the Minister is a great ennoblement and recognition for me, but also proves the recognition of the Opole scientific community, which, as a relatively small scientific centre in Poland, has been noticed and appreciated. Moreover, it is a distinction that is somewhat “sentimental” to me, as in 2010 I myself received such a scholarship from the Minister for outstanding young scientists”, says the PO researcher. 

Prof. Damian Bęben works at the Department of Bridges, Geotechnics and Construction Processes of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Opole University of Technology, and he is also the Chairman of the Scientific Council for the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy and transport.
