Dawid Pawuś – a student of automation and robotics at the Opole University of Technology – received a scholarship from the Minister of Education and Science for significant scientific, artistic or sporting achievements. Scholarships of PLN 17,000 were awarded to a total of 414 students from across Poland, selected from nearly 1,200 applications.

“It is very cool. I feel honoured by this award”, said the student, who is soon to defend his diploma thesis, but already has plans for further development. The scholarship holder wants to continue his studies at a polytechnic doctoral school and already has an idea for an implementation doctorate.

“From nearly 1,200 applications from across the country, the committee selected exactly 414 students to receive scholarships. We are very pleased that among the students with high scientific marks is Opole University of Technology student Dawid Pawuś. I warmly congratulate him and, of course, wish him further success”, says the Rector of the Opole University of Technology, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.
