Opole University of Technology to conduct experimental studies of inverters used in photovoltaic micro-installations

06.05.2021

Experimental research of inverters used in photovoltaic micro-installations are carried out by Tauron Dystrybucja in cooperation with technical universities, including the Opole University of Technology. Such research is an innovative initiative in Europe.

Tests are carried out in three areas: electrical efficiency, electromagnetic compatibility and compliance with the technical conditions governing the cooperation of micro-installations with the electricity distribution network, taking into account the requirements of the network code, operating and operating instructions for the distribution network and relevant standards.

The invitation to participate in the research was addressed to all manufacturers meeting the technical criteria, who wanted to produce components of photovoltaic installations available for testing. They are conducted by scientists from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and Wrocław, Silesia, Częstochowa and Opole universities.
