Over 3.1 million Poles use the mObywatel application – a digital file for documents

Over 3.1 million Poles have already installed the mObywatel application on their phones, i.e. a digital file for documents. The application is free, voluntary and safe, it is useful in many life situations. Soon it will receive the EU COVID Certificate.

The application includes: name (s), surname, PESEL identification number, date of birth, ID card number, information about the authority that issued the document, date of validity of the document, information about sex, father’s and mother’s name, mother’s maiden name, place of birth, information about citizenship and place of residence, and a photo from the ID card.

In the digital file, Poles can also add: mPrawo Jazdy – a digital document with driving licenses; mPojazd, i.e. a reflection of the data from the registration certificate, third party liability insurance policy, vehicle card and penalty points counter, as well as eRecepty – allowing to receive drugs by only showing the pharmacist the phone screen with the QR code displayed.
