The IT Championship Center is starting a grant project funded by the Digital Poland Project Center to provide IT classes for over 12,000 particularly gifted primary and secondary school students.
As part of the project of 1,500 mentors including teachers, medallists and finalists of IT competitions, with the support of five technical universities: Lodz University of Technology, which is a project leader and a technical university from Wrocław, Gdańsk, Warsaw and the Krakow AGH University of Science and Technology will work out curricula and implement them through organized IT clubs activities.
The project will be also supported by associations: Coding Masters, I Love Math and the Foundation for the Development of Electronic Education. Digital Poland Project Center has allocated nearly PLN 50 million for the implementation of the project.
