The TANGO 3 competition is a joint venture of the National Science Center and the National Center for Research and Development. It is to finance projects that will increase the use of the results of basic research. Its aim is to build a bridge between basic and applied research and industrial research.

TANGO 3 will allow both national agencies to improve the conditions for conducting research and development in Poland. The competition gives the opportunity to introduce products, services or technologies into market. Scientific organizations, universities, scientific centers of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and even natural persons can participate in the competition. – We want to enable better transfer of knowledge to the industry and thus fully use the opportunities of Polish science – says Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education.

The call for proposals will run from June 14 to December 20, 2018.
