Polish Academy of Sciences and French partners organized the competition “My doctorate in 180 seconds”

The French Cultural Center of the University of Warsaw, the French Institute in Poland, Wallonie-Bruxelles International and the Polish Academy of Sciences, have organized the competition “My doctorate in 180 seconds”.

13 students from 11 Polish universities and research centers presented their scientific works in 3-minute films, in French. The prizes were awarded by jurors and the Internet audience.

I place (a monthly scholarship for a research stay in France worth EUR 1700 funded by the French Embassy in Poland) was awarded to Dorota Kołbuk, Institute of Paleobiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The second place (an Amazon voucher worth 200 euros funded by the Polish Academy of Sciences) was awarded to Anna Krzyżak, Pedagogical University in Krakow.

Third place (a Media Markt voucher worth 150 euro funded by Wallonie Bruxelles International) was awarded to Magdalena Białecka, the Chopin University of Music.

The Audience Award (a 200 euro voucher funded by the Mazars Group) was received by Maciej Bukowski, Jagiellonian University.
