The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Employers’ Union of Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies INFARMA have signed a letter of intent on cooperation. The main goal of the initiative is long-term educational activities aimed at stakeholders and the public in health protection.

One of the effects of the work of a group of specialists from the Polish Academy of Sciences is to prepare a set of analyzes regarding the health care system in Poland and to indicate possible system changes.

“The health care system in Poland requires multilateral support. Scientific expertise and advice from specialists in various fields will help support people who decide about the future shape and development of health care. That is why we are pleased with the undertaken public-private cooperation that allow the analyzes and recommendations of our experts to provide substantive support addressed to the public or politicians”, said Prof. Jerzy Duszyński, president of the Polish Academy of Sciences, who signed a letter of intent together with Nienke Feenstra, president of the INFARMA Association.
