The Polish Academy of Sciences has launched the second application process for the PASIFIC scholarship program. Scientists from all over the world and from all scientific fields can apply for two-year research stays at the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which will start between July and November 2022. Applications can be submitted until December 30, 2021.
Candidates can apply for a stay at one of the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw. Scholarship recipients will receive a monthly salary of approx. EUR 2,500 net. Scientists who will come to Poland with their families will also receive a family allowance. In addition, researchers will receive a research budget and reimburse of direct costs of up to € 60,000.
Within the first PASIFIC competition, 35 best scholarship holders will be selected, who will come to Poland between January and March 2022. 348 scientists including 106 female scientists and 242 male scientists from 60 countries had applied by the deadline.
