Polish Geopolitical to launch Society Geopolitics essay competition

The Polish Geopolitical Society, Chełm Branch, in cooperation with the Department of International Relations of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm and the Students’ Scientific Club of International Relations of the PWSZ in Chełm, are organizing a “Competition for a geopolitical essay”.

The aim of the Competition is to popularize geopolitics, develop interests in knowledge examining the impact of geographical factors on the foreign policy of states and their groupings, and on the shaping of international order and security, and the ability to use various sources on geopolitics.

Students of all post-primary schools and universities may participate in the competition.

It consists in writing an essay on one of the following topics: Geo-environmental conditions as a determinant of past and modern military operations; Where are you going, Russia? The future shape of the Russian Federation in contemporary geopolitics; Nuclear Weapons – A Weapon of Winners or Losers? Geopolitical awakening of Europe – where are we, where are we going to?; Belarus alongside Russia – what next?
