Three research teams from Poland won a competition organized by the CHIST-ERA European Coordinated Research network on Long-term Challenges in Information and Communication Sciences & Technologies.
The call for proposals submitted 53 international research proposals, of which 10 projects received funding, totalling almost EUR 10 million.
Winning projects that will be implemented with the participation of scientific teams from Poland include:
TESLA: Non-Durable / Biodegradable Electronics for the Sustainable Development of the ICT Sector in Digital Farming. Polish team leader: Dr Eng. Beata Kinga Synkiewicz-Musialska, ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics. The project will be implemented with the participation of partners from Great Britain, Finland, Canada and Switzerland.
BANANA: Brainsourcing for Assessing Affective Attention. Polish team leader: Dr Eng. Aleksandra Dagmara Kawala-Sterniuk, Opole University of Technology. The project will be implemented with the participation of partners from Finland, Spain and Luxembourg.
BITSCOPE: Neuronally integrated tagging for socially curated online user experiences. Polish team leader: Dr Veslava Osińska, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The project will be implemented with the participation of partners from: France, Ireland and Spain.
