Polish scientist becomes the youngest ever member of the European Academy of Science and Arts

Dr Eng Krzysztof Kamil Żur, Professor at the Białystok University of Technology (PB), has become a member of the prestigious European Academy of Science and Arts (EASA). He is the youngest member of EASA in its history.

Based in Salzburg (Austria), the European Academy of Sciences and Arts is an association committed to promoting scientific and social progress. It is one of the most prestigious scientific institutions in Europe. Members of the Academy are selected for their outstanding achievements in the fields of science and the arts – they are dedicated to innovative research, interdisciplinary and international cooperation, as well as the exchange and dissemination of knowledge. The Academy brings together more than 2,000 of the most eminent scientists and artists from across Europe, including more than 30 Nobel Prize winners.

Dr Krzysztof Kamil Żur, Prof. PB is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of PB. Prof. He cooperates with dozens of scientific institutions and directs the research work of international teams from recognised scientific centres: Western Michigan University (USA), Texas A&M University (USA), Tianjin University (China), Jilin University (China), University of Adelaide (Australia).
