On 10 October 2022, a conference will be held to summarise the participation of the University of Warsaw (UW) and other Polish universities in European alliances, as part of projects under the EU Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programmes.

The UW was one of five Polish universities joined 17 consortia awarded a grant in June 2019 in the European Commission’s first pilot competition “European Universities”, funded by the Erasmus+ programme.

The meeting at the UW will present educational and research activities to date, as well as other joint initiatives aimed at deepening and enhancing cooperation between members of the 4EU+ Alliance, to which the UW belongs, and the exchange of experiences between Polish members of the European Universities.

The event will also be attended by representatives of other alliances of European Universities, representatives of the scientific community in Poland, including, among others, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, acting as the National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps, and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
