Aleksandra Gołąb, a fourth-year student of medicine at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, has won a scholarship from the Minister of Health for significant scientific achievements in the 2022/2023 academic year.
The scholarship holder is the co-author of 12 publications and papers presented at international and national thematic conferences, with a total Impact Factor of more than 29 points. Her main interest is in the impact of homeostatic disorders, with a particular focus on haemostatic disorders among cardiac and cardiac surgery patients.
Since her first year of study, she has been involved with the John Paul II Kraków Specialist Hospital and the Kraków Centre for Medical Research and Technology, where she is currently employed as a volunteer. In 2022, she participated in a medical mission in Tanzania as part of the Doctors Africa project.
