Poznan and Krakow students win the Competition for the Award of the President of the National Bank of Poland

The jury of the 7th Competition for the Award of the President of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) for the best doctoral and habilitation thesis in the field of economic sciences has appointed the winners. There were no 1st awards in this year’s competition.

The second degree awards for the best doctoral dissertations were awarded to: Dr Marcin Jan Flotyński for his thesis “The impact of macroprudential regulation of long-term liquidity on the stability of commercial banks in Poland” presented at the University of Economics in Poznań at the Faculty of Economics and to Dr Jakub Janus for his thesis “Strategies for the exit of major central banks from unconventional monetary policy” presented at the University of Economics in Krakow at the Faculty of Economics and International Relations.

By the decision of the Competition Jury, the 2nd degree award for the best habilitation thesis was awarded to Dr Anna Moździerz for her work “The twin deficits paradigm and the experiences of Central and Eastern European countries”. Her academic title was awarded by the University of Economics in Krakow at the Faculty of Finance and Law at the Department of Finance.
