On December 17-18, 2020, four Polish universities of technology held a study Flying Road University. The online workshops were attended by 60 students of four Polish universities of technology. During the course, students learned the latest methods of testing asphalts and asphalt mixtures as well as the technical and operational parameters of road surfaces.

The Flying Road University was established on the initiative of staff of the Lublin University of Technology, Białystok University of Technology and Orlen Asfalt. In this year’s program, staff and students of Gdańsk University of Technology and Rzeszów University of Technology joined the project.

-It will become a breeding ground for road engineers, who will be well prepared for the profession, both in theoretical and practical terms. Flying University of Roads aims to exchange knowledge and integrate students of the road specialization of these universities. It focuses on educational and research activities in order to raise the standards of education and gain specialist knowledge in the field of road engineering.
