The Poznan University of Life Sciences is a member of the Food4CE project consortium. The aim of the project, whose leader is the Slovenian University of Maribor, is to analyse the topic of alternative food networks. Nine partners from Central Europe are involved in the project.
The project aims to explore the potential of the food supply chain for sustainability and to identify new and innovative approaches to food production and distribution.
Focusing on alternative food networks, the researchers will explore ways to create more sustainable and resilient food systems that can meet consumer needs while protecting the environment. In addition, five Innovation Centres will be launched in five different countries, further increasing the reach and impact of the project.
