President of the Industrial Development Agency awards graduates of vocational schools

The president of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) S.A. granted prizes to the authors of the best master’s, bachelor’s and engineering theses related to the subject of enterprise management, restructuring and innovation. The awards ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin and chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Public Vocational Universities professor Witold Stankowski.

– One of the priorities of the reform of science and higher education under the Constitution for Science is to adapt the educational offer of vocational schools to the expectations of employers and, consequently, to increase the chances of graduates on the labor market. The reform strengthens those legal instruments that will allow universities to respond adequately to the changing needs of the modern economy and labor market – said Jarosław Gowin.

Master theses:
1. Ewa Wnuk, State University of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship in Łomża for the work “Design and study of intelligent clothing with the functionality of registering selected vital parameters of an industrial plant employee”.

Bachelor theses:
1. Kamila Oklejewicz, State Higher Vocational School in Sanok; for the work “Application of the competency model in human resource management on the example of the XYZ company”.
2. Barbara Rudnicka, State Higher Vocational School Capt. Witold Pilecki in Oświęcim; for the work “Quality management in the process of water treatment for consumption”.
3. Julian Skowroński, State University of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship in Łomża, for the work: “A prototype of an autonomous robot handling the movement of pallets between the warehouse and the loading / unloading zone.”
