The Landscape Architecture Scientific Club of the Poznań University of Life Sciences won the main prize and a special prize in the INSPIRATIONS-ARANGEMENTS competition during the Gardenia International Fair of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
By the votes of the public, the students of the Poznań university won the main prize (a trip to the Chelsea Flower Show 2024 in London) but that is not all. By the decision of the experts on the jury, the UPP team also received a special prize, a one-year licence for the Gardenphilia design software.
The winning concept refers to natural English gardens, in which symmetry and geometric shapes are minimised. Among other things, the design included plant boxes, armchairs, a floor of imitation wood tiles, a wicker palisade, a split stone path, a canopy of branches on a wooden structure, clay plant pots, a wooden bookcase, a table, bird drinkers, a log, a flower bed or trees.
