Prof. Adam Daniel Rotfeld to deliver a lecture ‘Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – objectives, motives, expectations’

On 21 February 2023, as part of the ‘8 Lectures for the New Millennium’ series organised by the University of Warsaw (UW), Prof. Adam Daniel Rotfeld will deliver a lecture entitled ‘Russia’s attack on Ukraine – goals, motives, expectations’.

The event will begin at 17.00 in the auditorium of the Old Library on the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście. Admission is free.

Professor Adam Daniel Rotfeld is an expert on international affairs. He was, among other things, Director of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute and a member of the UN Secretary-General’s Consultative Council on Disarmament. He co-chaired the Polish-Russian Group on Difficult Matters. He served on the National Security Council. In 2005, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs.

As a researcher, he is primarily interested in issues of international law and security. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in this field. He lectures at the Faculty of “Artes Liberales” of the University of Warsaw.
