Prof. Hermann Maurer to hold a lecture at the Wrocław University of Technology

Wroclaw University of Technology invites participants on Tuesday, June 12 to the lecture “We need lots of imagination to solve some of the big problem facing mankind”. The lecture will take place as part of the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar.
The lecturer will deal with unconventional solutions to the basic problems that have faced humanity – related to overpopulation, global warming or digitization – says prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, chairman of the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar.
Professor Maurer is associated with the Technological University in Graz. In 1965 he obtained a Ph.D. in mathematical sciences, he also graduated from the University of Calgary. He lectured at universities in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and the USA. He has developed many innovative solutions in the field of information technology, data collection and processing, or the development of Internet networks.
