Prof. Stanisław Wrzosek becomes chairman of the Polish Accreditation Committee

Przemysław Czarnek, the minister of education and science, appointed Prof. Stanisław Wrzosek from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) as the new chairman of the Polish Accreditation Committee.

The Polish Accreditation Committee was established in 2002. From the moment of its establishment, it dealt with all public and private universities operating in Poland.

The main objectives of the Commission’s activities include ensuring compliance with the quality standards adopted for higher education, referring to the best practices in the European and global educational space, and supporting public and private universities in the process of improving the quality of education, as well as developing a quality culture.

Prof. Wrzosek has been a lawyer working for the Catholic University of Lublin since 1997. Previously, he was employed at the Białystok University of Technology (1993–1997), at the University of Warsaw (1988–1993), at the Institute of Administration and Management (1983–1988), at the Central Statistical Office (1982–1983) and at the Ministry of Machine Industry (1980–1982). He was the rector of the Radom Academy of Economics.
