Project of scientists from the Krakow University of Agriculture awarded in the international competition

The project developed with the participation of Polish scientists was awarded in the international competition in the field of forest management under the name “ForestValue – Innovating the forest-based bioeconomy”.

The project “Innovative strategies of forest management for sustainable bioeconomy in the era of changing climatic conditions and weakening of the stability of forest stands (I-MAESTRO)” will be implemented by a Polish team from the University of Agriculture in Krakow under the direction of Prof. Eng. Jarosław Socha in cooperation with research groups from France, Germany and Slovenia.

The coordinator of the international consortium is the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture (IRSTEA) from France.
