The University of Wrocław (UW) joined the top ten of the best public universities in Poland according to the Perspektywy University Ranking 2022. The university moved up three places – last year it took the 13th place. In the ranking of universities it defended the fourth position.

The Ranking of Academic Universities includes 29 indicators grouped into seven criteria: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Scientific potential, Innovation, Scientific effectiveness, Educational conditions and Internationalization. Its methodology is being developed by the chapter chaired by Prof. Michał Kleiber, former president of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It is one of the four world rankings with the international quality certificate “IREG Approved

The greatest strength of the Wrocław university is prestige. This indicator is calculated on the basis of opinions about the university among academic staff and international recognition. In this category, the University of Wrocław was ranked 7th among all universities.
