Students of Racing Team operating at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation of the Rzeszów University of Technology presented their latest PMT-03 racing car. Last year, the project won the second place in the Business Presentation category during the Formula Student Virtual Event 2020.

Every year, the racing team prepares their solution for the interdisciplinary international Formula Student competition held on F1 tracks. From the beginning of its activity, it has developed three racing car designs. So far, they have taken part in eight European competitions and in the American online competition.

The three structures designed by the team qualify as cars for the internal combustion classification, with a maximum regulatory capacity of 710 cm3. The engine used in the latest car reaches 85hp, the speed of 100 km / h is reached in about 4 seconds. One of the main design goals of the third car was to minimize the total weight. The car weighs 215 kg. In comparison to the previous design, the overall weight of the vehicle has been reduced by 20 kg.
