At the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, a radio and television studio has been made available to students and faculty.

The studio consists of a television and radio studio, a television and sound director’s office (prepared for professional recordings), a computer lab connected to a projection room and storage facilities. The equipment also includes modern film, television, sound, and lighting equipment. In the future, there will also be a computer and editing studio.

“We intend to hold all workshop classes related to media production, journalism and communication here. The site also offers some potential for cooperation with the outside world. I am thinking of organising training courses in public speaking or self-promotion”, said Professor Iwona Hofman, director of the Institute of Social Communication and Media Studies at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
