1000 PLN of monthly scholarship, paid internships, apprenticeships and employment guarantees in the leading companies of the railway industry – such incentives are planned for students of the railway construction industry at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology – informs the university.

In the coming years, huge rail investments will be implemented in Poland, and employers from railway companies urgently will need engineering staff with highly specialized qualifications. Such qualifications will be attained by graduates of the Cracow University of Technology studying programs developed jointly by the university and specialists from the railway sector.

Declaration of cooperation with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Cracow University of Technology has already been submitted by seven companies: Polish State Railways – Polish Railway Lines, Przedsiębiorstwo Napraw i Utrzymania Infrastruktury Kolejowej w Krakowie Sp. z o.o., Kolejowe Zakłady Nawierzchniowe “Bieżanów” Sp. z o.o., Grupa ZUE, Track Tec S.A. , Budimex S.A. and STRABAG Sp. z o.o. They funded 26 scholarships for students of the second and third semester of regular studies on the railways specialty.
