IT, Construction, Applied Linguistics, Transport, Automation and Robotics and Architecture are the most popular majors at the Silesian University of Technology this year. This year’s recruitment proved to be a great success – more than 10,000 candidates registered in the system on the first date of this year’s recruitment. This is an increase of over 22 per cent compared to last year. 

Candidates could choose from over 50 majors adapted to market requirements. The university also prepared many novelties that encouraged young people to choose the Silesian University of Technology. 

“We have made an effort to shape the curricula of individual fields of study in such a way that the student becomes a subject, not an object of education, and the teacher becomes a guide in the process, developing independence, not suppressing curiosity, allowing the student to see the need for lifelong learning”, says the Vice-Rector for Students and Education, Professor Wojciech Szkliniarz.
