Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology appeals for the support of Krakow hospitals

Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków Prof. Tadeusz Słomka appealed to the university community to support Krakow hospitals with materials and protective measures that may be useful in the combat against the coronavirus pandemic.

-In a sense of solidarity with our colleagues, doctors who risk their life and the health of their families and combat the coronavirus for all of us, I appeal to the entire University Community to hand over all our stocks of resources and materials that can be used as protective masks, gloves also ethyl alcohol in containers, protective helmets for the needs of Krakow hospitals, including in particular infection University Clinic, John Paul II Hospital and S. Żeromski Hospital) and other hospitals struggling with the lack of such an assortment – writes the rector of AGH.

– We would like to remind you that doctoral students and students of the AGH University of Science and Technology are producing protective helmets for the needs of hospitals is in progress, using 3D printers.
