Representatives of the Chinese embassy pay a visit to the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn

At the beginning of September, two joint Polish-Chinese research projects started at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn. On this occasion, the University was visited by representatives of the Chinese embassy, headed by Jiang Sudong, adviser on science, technology and education.

The visit of Chinese guests was associated with the great success of scientists from Olsztyn. In the first Polish-Chinese bilateral competition conducted by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) together with the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MOST), two projects from UWM received funding.

Researchers from Olsztyn in cooperation with Chinese scientists will implement at the Faculty of Food Sciences the project: “Innovative technologies for the production of functional ingredients of dairy origin and development of new products” (DairyFunInn). The second project entitled “Artemis. Development of advanced methodology for real-time multi-system ionospheric services” will be implemented at the Center for Radio Diagnostics of the Space Environment of the Faculty of Geodesy, Spatial Engineering and Construction.
