Dr Kamil Glinka from the Institute of Political Science at the University of Wrocław has been awarded a Strategic Grant from the International Visegrad Fund to carry out a 36-month research project titled ‘Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries’.

The project will provide a multifactorial analysis of the determinants, mechanisms and outcomes of post-pandemic urban recovery in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Both researchers and practitioners, representatives of local government units, will participate in the work of the international consortium.

In addition to researchers from the University of Wrocław, the research team will include representatives from the Czech Metropolitan University Prague, the Slovak Comenius University in Bratislava and the Hungarian University of Szeged, as well as The Network of European Metropolitan Regions and Areas and the Municipality of Wrocław.

The project is co-financed by the Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovak governments through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund.
