Prof. Janusz Faryś, Department of Security Problems in North, Central and Eastern Europe, Academy in Gorzów Wielkopolski became the laureate of the historical competition of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At the request of the Historical Diplomacy Council, the Minister awarded and distinguished scientific and popular science works published in 2019, including the book “Between Moscow and Berlin. The vision of Polish foreign policy 1918-1939” in the category “The best publication in Polish on the history of Polish diplomacy”.

In his work, Prof. Faryś showed program visions of Polish foreign policy, which were developed by the basic parties and political groups of the Second Polish Republic. The author focuses on the description of the dominant concepts and guides the reader through the problems of diplomatic efforts made to maintain Poland’s independence after the peace in Versailles.
