Agnieszka Neumann-Podczaska from the Poznań University of Medical Sciences has won the Fulbright Senior Award 2020/21. The Fulbright program is the largest scientific and cultural exchange program in the United States.
By the decision of the Polish-American Fulbright Commission Council, the Poznań researcher received a 6-month scholarship to conduct research at the Clinic of the University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy. Her goal will be to assess and optimize patient pharmacotherapy carried out as part of the therapeutic team’s work, as well as to participate in the didactics of MD and PharmD University of Kentucky students.
The Fullbright program has been supporting cooperation for the development of science, culture and interpersonal and inter-institutional relations between the USA and over 160 countries for over 70 years. According to the vision of its initiator – American senator J. William Fulbright – it is to be a tool in building dialogue and peaceful relations between nations.
